A story is told of a guy called Robert Johnson, a normal not very talented guitar player who is not loved by women because he is broke and untalented. This guy goes for a gig in some pub and people hurled insults at him for playing nonsense. Down struck and depressed the guy walks away. He disappears for several weeks and because he is a no one, no one bothered. The same guy resurfaces, goes to the same pub and guys are awed, mouths aghast in bewilderment and shock. How Katoo Got into Power I remember the year vividly the year 2003 like the palm of my hand. Geoffrey Mepukori Ole Parpai, the then incumbent Kajiado South Constituency MP, was sickly and was admitted to Nairobi Hospital. Katoo Ole Metito was only 30 years then and a student at the University of Nairobi (UoN) pursuing his BSc. in Micro-processor Technology and Instrumentation. On 5th August 2003, Geoffrey Mepukori Ole Parpai passed on after only 7 months in office. The Kenya Year Book describes him as a proven politician but an untested minister. His political skills plunged his extremely opinionated opponents into the murk. His constituents knew that freedom was indeed coming but he, unfortunately, passed on shortly after being sworn in. Katoo was a close aide to the late Geoffrey Parpai, an apprentice they say. He w...

I have witnessed people doing the same things expecting different results. They cling to the hope that one day their enemies will be astonished by their success. It has always been about God vindicating them before their enemies. Religious institutions; just even look at the name. They are mere man-made institutions. They are structured built by men who expect that God will now come. ...
