Some guy went to a man of God for healing and after he got what we wanted he chose to stay in the fellowship because he felt God potent there. Shortly after, he started asking if the fellowship was a real church because they didn’t meet on Sundays. He felt different because he was used to attending ‘Real Church’ and not mere fellowships. He was used to a man of God who constantly warned him about sin and ensured that there is inclusivity. He was used of different sermons; some about increase, some about lack, others about being alert about the devil, some about curses, others about how to avoid sin etc. In this fellowship, all he heard was about goodness, increase and favor year in year out. How Katoo Got into Power I remember the year vividly the year 2003 like the palm of my hand. Geoffrey Mepukori Ole Parpai, the then incumbent Kajiado South Constituency MP, was sickly and was admitted to Nairobi Hospital. Katoo Ole Metito was only 30 years then and a student at the University of Nairobi (UoN) pursuing his BSc. in Micro-processor Technology and Instrumentation. On 5th August 2003, Geoffrey Mepukori Ole Parpai passed on after only 7 months in office. The Kenya Year Book describes him as a proven politician but an untested minister. It was devastating news for the whole of Kajiado and the Maasai community as a whole. Parpai was so much loved and was seen as the liberator for the Maasai people. Introduction Most educated politicians in Kenya are laid back. They talk less about their achievements. Someone may ask, “Is education important for politicians?” Or “What education do politicians need?” Skeptics worldwide have also asked, “Does Kenya have good education?” Kenya ranks number 68 in both 2020 & 2021 in education rankings worldwide which is slightly lower than Seychelles, the country with the best education in Africa at 69.3. The quality of education is superb given that the adult literacy rate is about 80% and the regional average is about 61%. Devolution has greatly improved education in Kenya with the new Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC) introduced in 2017 consisting of 2 years in Pre-primary, 6 years in primary, 3 years in junior secondary, 3 years in senior secondary, and 3 years in tertiary institutions.
