Stupid Vows You Shouldn’t Say in Your Marriage. For Better For Worse, Which Worse?

I have gone to tons of weddings and in all of them, almost every speaker says, “You know marriage is not easy.” They affirm this with vehemence and enthusiasm. Well, they forget that back in hell, the devil is undressing to a jacuzzi asking Judas to hand him over the cigar and some bottle of wine. We have made the devil’s work so easy by pushing his agenda. We say things simply because we hear other people saying them. A child of God would wonder why they are not making it in life oblivious of the things they prophesied in their life. A study has shown that Christians have the highest divorce rate. Of about 55% married Christians, about 12% of them get divorced. All this was brewed in their wedding day when their pastors set them up for destruction. When you attend a Christian wedding as a bachelor today, it is more likely that you will remain single forever. All your aunties will preach how marriage is not easy and the way they have struggled to live with their husbands. God will t...

#SlayingSillySermons – We Are NOT All Equal in the Eyes of the Lord

I know my rights! All sovereign power belongs to the people of Kenya and shall be exercised only in accordance with this Constitution. Let me ask a very simple question, “Why wasn’t Raila jailed for swearing himself in before the handshake? Why are so many ‘politically influential’ murderers walking free today? We have the constitution that outlines the charges of murder and treason. Since there was a scape goat called Miguna Miguna, why wasn’t he put in jail? Why was he ‘simply deported?’ So, we claim of how just democracy is and how the law is not biased. They say the law doesn’t care whether you are rich, poor or politically affiliated but that’s not always the case. You and I know that democracy never works and it will never work – FOREVER! Go to your father’s house, sit on his seat and him to serve you tea in your father’s cup. When your father arrives send him to the kitchen to get you some water and let’s see what happens. We live in a democratic life don’t we? Well, the sam...

While The Heathens Took Dominion, The Church is Still Punishing Its Youth For Having Sex

I used to fellowship in a certain church and it happened that my peers, young band members ‘ate’ each other. Oops, what an intro. I think this is where all church guys stop reading this post. Well, the curious ones will read on to check what I have to say. Well, after feeling the sweet bumpy activity each other’s protruding and sunken organs, they were summoned by the church elders to vividly explain how the Halal Farmer’s Choice product penetrated into the non-Halal conglomerate of muscles and mucus. I really do not know who snitched them but you and I know that it is only the church that accuses its own soldiers, shames them and nails them on the cross. I have never seen an exposé like, “10 Sheikhs who ate from their flock.” Or “10 Buddhas and their illicit corrupt deals.” So my friends were kicked out of service. They were unworthy to serve the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. They were now impure and needed cleansing. They were unrighteous because according to them, righteou...

Chicken Sella Diversions – The Royal Touch

Image
Kenyans are always crying about everything and anything. It is always about fuel, CBC, subsidized ‘not for sale’ fertilizer on sale, unga , public debt, ooh sijui the port is getting grabbed etc. If I were the Chicken Sella, sworn in barely two months ago, I would have kept you guys busy with other things. I would be like… “Itumbi, kuja hapa. Hii Wakenya wanataka kitu itawafanya wakuwe busy.” “Kweli Mhesh. Wanaongea sana! Nilikuwa na ideas kiasi….” “Hebu leta hizo ideas zako tuskie…” “Mhesh nilikuwa nafikiria ukienda COP 27 ufanye kainterview na mtoto fulani ako hapa amepanda miti kushinda miaka yake times a sausand. Si unajua Wakenya na vitu soft soft! Watasahau bei ya unga kidogo.” “Enhe! Lakini sitaki kuwa kama regime ya zamani, nataka long-lasting solutions.” “Hapo kwa long-lasting niko na idea ingine controversial kidogo lakini si saana.” “Now I am all ears. Controversy sells. Niambie” “Nilikuwa nataka ushike ororo.” “Wewe Itumbi wacha maneno yako bwana, hii lugha ya vi...

Read This Before You Vote For Katoo!

How Katoo Got into Power I remember the year vividly the year 2003 like the palm of my hand. Geoffrey Mepukori Ole Parpai, the then incumbent Kajiado South Constituency MP, was sickly and was admitted to Nairobi Hospital. Katoo Ole Metito was only 30 years then and a student at the University of Nairobi (UoN) pursuing his BSc. in Micro-processor Technology and Instrumentation. On 5th August 2003, Geoffrey Mepukori Ole Parpai passed on after only 7 months in office. The Kenya Year Book describes him as a proven politician but an untested minister. It was devastating news for the whole of Kajiado and the Maasai community as a whole. Parpai was so much loved and was seen as the liberator for the Maasai people. His political skills plunged his extremely opinionated opponents into the murk. His constituents knew that freedom was indeed coming but he, unfortunately, passed on shortly after being sworn in. Katoo was a close aide to the late Geoffrey Parpai, an apprentice they say. He w...
